I recently found a perfect match for old Cat Yellow, but it's Rust-oleum so I assume its not styrene friendly. If I decant some for airbrushing what is the proper primer to use for this situation. I will be priming a white styrene plastic model of a Korovetz Farm tractor in 1/25th scale. I do not want to take any chances on this so make and model of primer would be great. Thanks guys please comment

Since you have an airbrush, I suggest Vallejo grey acrylic primer. Best stuff out there made for plastic.

I offer no garrauntees, but I have never had a problem with Rust-o-Leum attacking styrene. Upon getting back into the hobby(about five years ago), I have regularly used Rust-o-Leum as a primer. I have continued this trend up until they stopped producing a match for red oxide.

I have used Rust-oleum for many years on all types of plastics including model kit styrene and have never had a problem.
