I started this one about nine months ago and set it aside, until I purchased some am parts. Digging it back out six months ago, I thought I was missing some pieces. Pulling it back out of the stash a few weeks ago, I realized I wasn't missing any parts. I decided to build it pretty much oob. I will be adding Real Models drink set and Tamiya's modern US stowage to it as well as AFV Club's anti reflection stickers and new antennae. The last two are on order from Hobbyeasy, but it looks like it will be a couple of months before they are delivered. In the meantime, I just couldn't stand keeping this one to myself. I will finish painting and building the roadwheels and sideskirts, today. I have a real problem with weathering, as paint chipping would reveal tan kevlar instead of bare metal. I am going to try a was with some W&N oils. I have a practice model to improve my abilities since this will be the first time I have worked with oils.
I saw a video with the St. Andrew's Cross painted over the cip panel on the rear. So...

It looks very nice Matt. Very good job so far. How much worn out do you intend to do it? Waiting to see more.

I only plan on light weathering. I'll dirty up the wheels and tracks. I'll probably pick up some of Mig's sand pigment. But, all of this is on hold untill I get some cash flow going.

Thanks for the kind words.
I'm proud of my Scottish heritage, even though we did get ourselves kicked of the big island.
I am going to attach a mine roller to it. I prefer the plow, but I can get the roller without having to buy a whole kit.
BTW: I'm looking for someone to print me a custom decal. I want the tank name to be "Diplomacy" in black. I don't have the money to purchase the decal paper and fixative, right now. Shoot me an email, if you can help out.

I normally do step by step on all my builds. This one has been a completely private venture, up until now. Hence "secret".

I painted the wrong side of the inner wheels. Due to the extreme heat, I have not been able to paint the correct side. Hopefully, it will be a bit cooler tomorrow and I can make some more progress.

I am planning on adding a mine roller to this build. I have the one found on the M1A2, but do not know how it attaches to the tank. If anybody could help out with some photos of attachment points, it would be a great help to me.
