Hi

This is the second vehicle that I´m going to put in the vignette (Poland september 1939)
It´s a Tom model. By now, I m only show you the kit. It´s a plastic kit, scale 1/35.

Well I started with the TK 3, the model is good, but It has the few details.
I show you the first advances on my model:

Changes made were on the handles of the lids, the recessed grille, added hinges, bolts idlers, thickness tuned fenders.

Great praise for subject of Polish vehicles from 1939.
This is a difficult topic because all plastic models are of poor quality.
This model is the same as the Mirage or RPM and has many errors. I make it from the basics.
Look for changes in the model here

I see a big deal about the details of the kit, errors everywhere. Arrange the front doors, I began to put rivets. Advances in the rear of the tanker, ventilation and exhaust ...

Cheers Omar

Your build is awesome but I must ask, what are you going to do about the teeny tiny tracks? I started a project like this but I stoped just after building motor for it when I looked over the tracks.

When it comes to the tracks of original tankette TKS, that was wider than TK-3 (TK-3 had like Carden Loyd)
Both models (TKS and TK-3) issued by RPM or Mirage have the same size track
I used those sections Plastic who are included in model kit (not tape !)

Nice, but :
column of muffler is glued inversely
this shape column of muffler is from TKS - look at old pictures and my model
Correct column will be simple not angled

Thanks by yours opinions, and comments.

If true, the position of the exhaust pipe bracket is attached to the back of the instructions as directed, but if I put in that position seems less real than it really is. The kit comes with a stand that is not that of tankkete TK3, would you do it again, as you did, but not rebuild it because it feared place as a lesser evil . If I place as indicated by instructive to cover the back cover, so you put it to one side or the other, both are wrong. I took a leave modelístico and that is why it looks that way.
For now, the conclusion I draw in the assembly of this kit is that it is far too real model, a shame as the actual vehicle really is very interesting to put together, and for the remaining kit like this you really have to build more than 50% in scrach to achieve a result as historic possible.

I think now will place the trucks and tools and finally reach the paint

Great job on this so far. I've learned a lot about these vehicles between watching your build, and Radett's excellent knowledge of the subject matter.

One minor suggestion. In one of your future pictures, include a finger or thumb to give people a visual aid of the size of this tankette. Even at 1/35 scale most people can't believe how tiny they are.....which makes all the modifications that you're doing even more impressive.

That's looking absolutely superb Omar. I'm glad to see you correct the exhaust. With all the other work you've done to the vehicle it would have been a shame to leave it as it was.
