Hello
I just found a info about new set from Black dog "US soldier team operation Freedom in Iraq" (F35050). Can somebody tell me if those figures present soldiers of US Army or US Marines and what colour should be for uniforms?
Thank You

I believe this type of uniform is called "MOPP Gear" and was especially used at the beginning of the war in 2003. I don't know if this is a Marine Corps or an Army equipment.
Here in Bassora in 2003, with woodland uniform and three desert colors body armor.
there are also some figures from Mig Producions with this type of equipment and on the boxarts, the figures are also painted with these colors.

The BlackDog figures wear the JSLIST NBC suit and I are intended to represent USMC during early stages of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I believe, whilst technically available in desert camo nearly all troops where issued with woodland.
Whether figures can be depicted as Army I'm not sure...?

Hi,
The blackdog figurine are not bad at all, the only thing is the face that they are a bit soft on details.
I post some of mine that I m still work on it.
I got also the mig figures that they are better in detail but to be honest I prefered to don't mixed the 2 brands as they are quit different.
I just purchase also the latest set from oif marines from blackdog they are primed ready to be paint.
