Working on a Sherman and I've painted base color is acrlyic, applied future, decals, then flat coat (Acryl Model Master). When I went to do dot filtering the paint began to haze now that the Turpenoid has dried. The only thing I can figure is that the Turpenoid has reacted with the clear coat. Anyone else had a similar problem; any suggestions?

What exactly do you mean by haze? Like turn white? It could be that your flat coat did not cure fully before you put your turps on it. The turp could also be too strong.
As a fix, well it might be to late. You might want to try putting another cote of future on top. That MIGHT fix it. Hope that helps

Yes, the finish had turned white. I tried your suggestion of another coat of Future and it solved the problem. I guess I am going to allow even longer drying time next go around.

I have had similar problems with Turpentine, especially with Model Master - solution - stopped using turpentine, and went with a White Mineral Spirit. Also, I tend to apply dot filter right after paint, prior to decals.

Hi
It is often said that turps is too strong a solvent, so as said it might be better to use a milder mineral spirit/White Spirit, next time.
