Hi All,

I looking for pictures from Gulf War British armour.
Challenger 1Mk3, Warrior, softskins, M109A2, and M110A2.
I have some books in this theme,(Osprey, Europa Militaria,Concord), and save some pictures from the net, but I hope, you are have a pair "new" pictures for me.
Specially I want pictures for 14/20 Lancers, RSDG and QIRH Challengers. The Bison decals not enough.
A pair days earlier I found a very interesting photo in the net.A Challeger tank, with two big eyes in the fender. But it is too small, and I dont know, what was the unit.Yust a frontwise photo.
Do you have pictures for Challengers?

regards,
Imre

If you can find it cheap, ""The Shield and the Sabre" has some interesting photos. Not fantastic and some pictures are small but a few that I've never seen before. It can be found for $3 plus shipping over here.

"Royal Scots in the Gulf" has a smattering of neat pictures as well but all black and white. I got it for $1 plus shipping but can't find another as cheap.

Pay more than those prices and you'll probably be disappointed.

No Offence but I am sure you meant > the *14th/20th Kings Hussars* (not Lancers) who amalgamated with the Royal Hussars (PWO) in 1992 and formed a new Regiment - *The Kings Royal Hussars* to carry on the History of this fine Regiment.

Keith.

Hi,

Yes, I found a good pictures in this book:
Mike Moore: Desert War, A unique photographic record of the Desert Rats at war.The 14D was Brigadier Cheristopher Hammerbeck's Chally. This Chally no frontal reactive armour in the picture. The tank name maybe Nomad. It is a traditional name?
He was the 4.Armoured Brigade commander.
14th/20th King's Hussars
A sqadron, Life Guards

Nomad is/was the name of the CO's tank (11B) in 2RTR, Chris Hammerbeck was CO 2RTR 1985-7!
