Hi all,
in my mailbox today I got some questions about the RMSh tracks that I'm really unable to answer. So I turn to all the knowledgeable members here with some hope !

Here are the Q?

What is the RMSH track friction coefficient on dry road(approximately)

What is the aerodynamics Drag coefficient of tank(approximately) I guess the tank in question is the T-72.

They look like final questions for Who wants to be a Millionnaire?
TIA

"What is the unladen airspeed of a swallow?"

"Do you mean a European swallow or a African Swallow?"

"I don't know....aaaaaaaaaaah!"

Sorry, had to do it.

Once you got the right answer to those questions the really tricky part begins: how do you scale it down to 1/35 and will one have to modify the Tamiya tracks to make them correct?

Well according to my reference,in 1972 the Russians make some test at "Tankograd wind tunnel" to improve it. They thought to add a front and a rear wing to their T-55s...
But in the end they didn't

seems like there are variables according to surface driven on.

Thanks for the link Tim. I just have to suggest to the webmaster to add various tracks type in his database

This is likely an engineering student do a design project on a drivetrain/transmission...

Sizeable differences on surface, even between types. The difference between brushed concrete and sealed asphalt is very significant. New track vs. old track is going to change things as well. ~0.75 for kinetic/dynamic friction is good enough for this exercise.

Aero drag on a tank isn't important since they operate at relatively slow speeds. If I had to venture a guess, ~0.8 is close enough.

Thanks for your input Jesse. I'll pass all this info on the guy who contacted me.
