Looking for a source for rolls of concertina wire. It will be displayed as rolled, not expanded, so even though there will be several rolls deep, only the top set needs to have the full look of the barbs. In 1/35th, I might add!
Thanks

Hmmm, if you're looking for modern Razor wire there's a how-to somewhere on this site.

Somebody sells that stuff, problem is now that Phil's is closed I can't go look and find out. Check the Verlinden website, or maybe try Great Models search engine.

Here is the link to the article on making concertina wire. I have used this method myself, and think it works out great. Good luck.

m75,
If you donot want to go the "make it yourself" route, there are two manufactured sources that I know of. Verlinden makes a "Razor Wire" # 715 and Hudson and Allen make a "Barbed Wire # 9401. We used both types when I was on AD in the 70's and 80's, but I am not sure what is used by units today.

Thanks for the sources guys. I'll try the screen method, and contact Jon at Mission Models about the commercial varients.

found some on ebay search for "wire 35"...but , the article the other submitted is a good one, make sure you use the correct size mesh and the stuff looks great. I found that older wire window screens work best because of their aged.
