Hello everyone, I am getting started in this hobby, and I was wondering what are the best companies for 1/72 scale ww2 vehicles? I heard that Revell and Tamiya are good, but any advice would help.
Also, is 1/72 scale a good scale for beginners? Thanks!

Tamiya doesn't make 1/72 scale vehicles (I'm pretty sure).
The best WW2 vehicles would be from Dragon, Revell and Italeri (to mention some of the big players). Some of their kits are excellent, some not so good.
A good resources is: http://onthewaymodels.com
I think 1/72 scale is as good a scale as any for a beginner!

You can also try http://www.tigerdio.com for 1/72 scale buildings, and afv bases.
They have HQ72 Resin Products as a sister company.

You can pick up the book: How to Build Dioramas by Shep Paine at Amazon. Highly recommend it!
