Hi, a question here. Will it be ok to paint it in desert yellow rather than light sand? I have two problems regarding that. Light sand is very rare here and also, if I use light sand with M1A1, they'll look more like allies.
On weathering, which part of the tank has the most chipped paint?

I must have missed read your post. What is it you are painting? Is this an Iragi vehicle?
As for the second part of your question on the chipped paint. Areas of the tank that see more traffic example around hatches where the crew mounts and dismounts the vehicle will have more chipped and worn areas. I hope this helps
