BroK3n, welcome aboard. Glad you found us.
I do not have all the specifics as far as each Armie's equipment yet, but rest assured, I will dig deeper into this. Be aware, that most of the stories you read on this battle, quote incorrect numbers of troops for each side. The Japanese had amassed in Malaya more than 300,000 troops, 500 tanks, two regiments of artillery, 500 aircraft with 80 in reserve, ten destroyers, two aircraft carriers, five submarines plus other support vessels.
The Allies had 19,000 British, 15,000 Australian, 37,000 Indian Army - including the 11th Division which was largely made up of British soldiers trained in India, and 17,000 Malay Volunteers for a total of about 88,000 troops.
The Allies used the British Armored Carrier ACV-IP (India Pattern) Mk 2, the Marmon-Herrington MK II Armored Cars, and they had Light tanks,of which type I do not know at this time. They also had the 25lb field guns. As for the Allies aircraft, the only one I know of is the Brewster Buffalo.
As for the Japanese, all I know so far used is the Type 95 light tanks, and the Zero.
I'll post back as find more info.

britain also had a few of the rolls royce armoured cars .in my opinion one of the primary reasons for the fall of malaya is not only percivals incompetance and probable cowardice, but churchill was sending all the latest equipment to russia.making him one of the worst p.m.'s but then how many men paid the price for his guarentee to stalin?if it was'nt for that guarentee my uncle would'nt have spent 3 years on the kwai!
