I have just posted some pics of Chieftain at -

http://groups.msn.com/Armorama/kiwidaveskollection.msnw?Page=2

Sorry but I cant handle the pic posting to the Forum.

This is the Tamiya Mk5 with half the Castoff Mk5 upgrade and a myriad of scratchbuilt parts.
It is my second attempt at armour, and my first attempt at;-
Resin conversion.
Home made decals.
Brush applied 'soft' camo.
Weathering.

The photos dont do justice but at least you can get an adea of what I was trying to do.

Regards Dave

Is that a new style barrel lock? If so did you scratch build it.

Dave - your Cheiftan looks great!

Have you tried uploading your pictures to your Gallery here on site? It would make linking into a Forum thread much easier!

[quote]Is that a new style barrel lock? If so did you scratch build it.

The barrel lock is from the Castoff Mk5 conversion and is the type fitted to production Mk5 and retrofitted to earlier tanks. I have added the tommy bar to the clamp bolt but it is not really visible.

Thanks for the kind comments chaps, much appreciated.

No Gunnie I have not tried accessing the Gallery. I will go and have a look and see if I can cope with technology!
