Lucky him, he got that kit. For me, I'll just continue the mouth-watering business everytime I see this kit. And oh yeah, the kit went into the right hands. This model really looks great.
The number of parts doesn't bother me. A few weeks of building can resolve this. What I'm worried about is the amount of paint to be used!

That kit is definitely an "OH WOWIE" Takes up too much room and as a builder of 350 scale ships and those tank haulers, I don't have anyspace left to display large kits..cannons aren't real high on my list of favorite subjects though this one would be a ball to build
