all, I have a SD.KFZ 10/5 DEMAG (the one with the pak 38 5mm gun mounted) and would like to add figures to make it look in transit. The kit (Italeri) also had the Dragon equivalent gun with figures but these are in firing pose and destined for another build...

what options do I have - I believe I need 4 figures - so driver plus 1 in front then 2 in the back....

thanks in advance

OLa Robert

You might want to check out the Dragon range as they have a set of Halftrack riders. Which is a set consisting of quite a lot of figures intended to sit in the back of an SdKfz 7. They could be useful for you. Possibly need some minor adjustments.

had seen that one - could be sueful (pity I cant then adjust the remainder to be tank riders for my StuG - tahts another question (one where I have at least a few options). I guess I could combine the driver from that 1 set with

http://miniart-models.com/index.htm?/35040.htm

for the others - but that would be 15 figures to get 4 ;-)

having said that, not painted a figure in 25+ years so need to try that first with my PzII figures to see taht I can do it well enough to make it worth investing....

actually - according to Wiki the Pak 38 mounted ion my vehicle had a crew of 5. Now I assume that the halftrack mounted one was crewed the same as the towed gun so I would need 5 figures - (assuming the driver was gun crew as well which I assume he could possibly be (dont think there is room on the vehicle for driver + 5) but that would mean he would have to stop what he was doing in order to move away from an area - so perhaps it would be 1 + 5 (anyone know?)

I have a few panzer riders in winter gear I finished, but realized I can't use. If you are interested, I can send some photos.

I have seen the Dragon(?) winter riders which could work for my StuG. Would love to see photos of them painted up so I can see what I could be aiming to achieve

I forgot that the heads aren't on them and they need some detail work.
Some suitable Tamiya figures:

nice work ... not sure if there legs are too bent for the StuG - I would love more reclining for that one... but for the SDKFZ they are the poses that would fit best.. will keep digging and looking at others builds

EDIT - posted before the set of 3 were on - thats what I would like on the Stug - more relaxing in transit type (so behind the front in safety) - tempted to load the StuG up too and have them really "hitching a lift"
