Does anyone know if it is possible to find 1/32nd Vietnam figures? US soldiers and Vietnamese civilians. I finished a model of a Lambro 550 bus we saw over there. My son in India sent me a toy I based it on.

Jerry: you could also get away with using 1/35th for the figures, for which there are many for the Vietnam era. Since only the vehicle is in 1/32d, it would blend together well.

Nice build, BTW. Interesting vehicle.

Thanks Zon.

Steve, the 54 mm figures by Verlinden do not have any Vietnam stuff.

I agree with Zon. I have mixed 1/32 aircraft (Revell Hueys and Cobras) with 1/35 figures a lot. They go together just fine. I have also used 1/35 figures and vehicles with 1/32 civilian vehicles, which go together just fine as well.

I agree with Zon and Gino. You can swap out for 1/35 and not notice any difference. If 32nd is that important, you could say that 35th are slightly smaller men and women. Finding civilians will be much more difficult. I've only seen one or two sets that have Vietnamese civilians. You could use the Vietcong set and leave out the weapons. Or these

Verlinden VER298 Vietnamese Civilians VC or these:

Master Box Limited MBL3599 Army Soldiers Patroling Vietnam (4 & Woman)
if you can find them.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have some 1/35 soldiers, they just look too small with the jeep.

Jerry,

If you're after some Vietnamese civilians in 1/35th scale, MAIM (Modern Armies in Miniature) have quite a nice selection. I don't know whether you can get them in US, but here in UK they can be bought from Fogmodels. Hope this helps. Below is the link

Not everyone is in that situation, nor do they want to hear people complaining about it. If you are broke, keep it to yourself. He made no mention of price.

It was meant to be humorous. Some people take themselves far too seriously.
BTW: It's the end of the month and I'm sitting pretty with a couple of bills.

Jerry: did you build that from scratch or is there a kit out there? Just curious.
