Hello all,
I plan to built a dio that would take place in Vietnam. I already have built a M113. I would also like to put a Jeep Willys MB (Tamiya no 219). I wonder if this Jeep's version (built in WWII) was still used in Nam? And if so, do I have to convert the kit?
Thanks in advance

I hate to say this but the MB was out of US service by Vietnam. The M38, M38A1 and the M151 Mutt were the service vehicles at that time. Now, there were bound to be surplus MB jeeps in Vietnam in, say, Vietnamese service or as private vehicles, but they were no longer on the official TO&E by the 60s. There may have been one or two still serving with individual US units as hacks or whatever, but you'd have to find a photo of that exact vehicle.
The French had them until they left in 1955 and they probably left some to the S. Vietnamese, but these would be well clapped out and surplanted by American M38s by the time the US got to SVN in force in the early 60s.
If such a vehicle and photo exists, then that will tell you what mods you may need to make.
