i went to my hobby shop to day,
to get some paints for my brummbar,
i got the tamyia dark yellow
and i was going to get a bottle of model master dark yellow and they where out of it.
so i got a bottle of mm afrika grunbraun for the dry brushing.
but when i got home i tryed it and it was darker then the spray can for some reason.
so does humbrol make panzer dark yellow.
i could get that,,, or i could put white in my afiak color and make it lighter thanks guys

If you're shooting through an airbrush, you can use the same paint for spraying and drybrushing. Just lighten the paint with a bit of "straight" yellow (Tip: don't use white.).

G'day Tazz,
I used Humbrol 83 which is their equivalent, and it did a good job. Check out the pics in Rivet Review under panzer IV.

Humbrol 83 is a good match. Also Vallejo Acrylic has a good Dunkelgelb

It is possible to dry-brush with acrylics, but it is not the best option as they tend to dry too quickly for this. Enamels are better and I prefer oils
