Is there any difference in the quality or detail of the new (blue box) and the older issue Hasagawa kits?

I have some blue box and older kits sitting up. Got a M3 Grant in blue and a M3 Lee older kit and as far as i can tell there all molded the same way with the same details just each one includes a different turret.
