Does anyone know if there are companies that make a 6 ton 6x6 prime mover as either a full kit or conversion? If not, are there any kits that could be used as a basis for a scratch-build?
TIA

Sure thing Marcel. White as well as Corbitt, Brockway, and FWD made it during WWII. It looks just like this pic below:
Even the Mack, 7 ½ ton, 6X6 Prime Mover is a vehicle I'm interested in. Heck anything that's 5 ton and larger that was used as a PM.

I don't know if it was used as a prime mover, but PSP-models makes a 6x6 corbitt. It looks just like the picture.
The link is of the company itself. The model is at the bottom of the page.

I don't know if there are other models of such kind of trucks

Thanks Marcel,
The only one I found by ADV/Azimut was the MACK No 4 1/2 Ton Truck kit # 35041. Could you be mistaking this one for a 7 1/2 ton?! Please say they have a 7.5 tonner!
Other than that above (fingers crossed), the PSP Corbit 6 Ton 6x6 looks promising.

Please check this link. Perhaps it's a typo. The pic is too small for me to tell for sure:
I mean it looks like a 7.5...

Yes, I recall that post. He certainly does say a 7.5 ton. Hmmm, I wonder if the other is a typo, because the vehicle in this pic looks very similar. Besides the model shown on that site looks too small to be a 4.5 ton.
Ah ha! This is a picture of the beast I'm looking for:

Ken......NO model macks were 7 1/2 ton prime movers while the NM series were 6 ton and were built to the same standard as brockway, corbitt and white 6 ton trucks.
in the Dec/Jan 03 issue (#95) of Tamiya model magazine there is an article on the PSP Corbitt. This is a real nice truck and one that I would like to build when I can.

What I need for it is the rear hoist setup. I do not have any pictures nor drawings of it. Do you?

Yeehaw! I found it. While I visit Mission Models quite often, I somehow missed his offerings. He has two listings, ADV/Mini(Azimut) and Azimut. I was only looking at the first listing, which confused me because it's only 1/72nd models.
Now to work on the Mrs.

You da man! What a terrific find Sir Marcel. Any reviews on their kits? Any idea if their price list is in Euros or Dollars? They list the price as 70. ??
I'll have to look around for a U.S. importer.
Thanks again Marcel.
