I beg your pardon for my bad english at first. I’ll do my best....and this is not much ;-)
I want to present my diorama “Ungarn 1944 – verdächtige Geräusche hinter dem T34”
The scale is 1/16.
The dimensions: 130 x 60 cm
The buildings, furnitures, rats and the most other things of the diorama are selfmade.

The story:
2 rats behind the T34 are looking for food. The soldier in front of the wrecks hears this and is alarmed. The soldier behind him gets frightened (?).

Hello Frank. This diorama must be huge!! What measurments does the base have?
To have so many figures and details on a huge base such as this, the quality is usually overlooked, but not here. Great rubble work on the destroyed buildings ... with the rough vegetation it all looks very natural. The weathering on both vehicles looks appropriate as well. Nice job.

Hi Frank i have to say welcome and also that this is an incredible diorama!

I've never done anything in such a big scale so i can only marvel at how huge everything must be!

I'd imagine it will be a challenge to store! Just curious does the whole base fold or split down the middle as the brass clasp in the middle implies?

The level of detail and quality of workmanship is top notch, really excellent job!

Very good work overall
Nice colors, rubble done very well.

A bit of problems here with the story. It looks like the space between two houses is a simple field. I could imagine at least a rough road or something like taht.

In german: Zwischen beiden Häusern ist eine ungepflegte Wiesenlandschaft. Sollte da vielleicht nicht eher zumindest ein Weg oder eine Strasse sein? Sonst alles sehr gut realisiert.

In the topic I've made a mistake. The scale is 1/16 not 1/6. Sorry, I've made a mistake in writing.

To the answers:
The measurement of the diorama is 130 cm (52 inches) x 60 cm (24 inches).
It consists of 2 modules which can be splitted. The T34 module measures 60 cm x 60 cm (24 x 24 inches), the Tiger 2 module measures 70 x 60 cm (28 x 24 inches).

The rubble of the brickwall are made in this way. I show pictures:







Each brick is to fix with a drop of glue.
The rubble is made of crushed flowerpots, pieces of wood and other things, fixed with thinned Weißleim (glue for wood )




@Claude: Danke für Dein nettes Feedback. Ich habe mir allerdings folgendes gedacht.
Es handelt sich hierbei um einen ungepflegten Hinterhof einer Fabrik. Zwischen dem Verwaltungsgebäude und der Werkhalle sollte keine Straße verlaufen. Zu finden sind derartige Höfe eigentlich allerorts.....es wird höchstens als Lagerplatz für Gerümpel oder stille Raucherecke genutzt. Außerdem wäre das Klohäuschen an der Straße unangebracht.

Das Feld zwischen den Häusern bildet ein Gefühl der aktiven turn-over-und Live-Interaktion in der Umgebung Übergangszone am Rande der Stadt. Gut gemacht, mit irrsinnig Detail (The field between the houses forms a feeling of active turn-over and live interaction in the surrounding transition zone at the outskirts of town. Well done, with mind-boggling detail.

130x60 cm! Frank, you managed even a nice clamp to fix those modules together. That's something i completely fu..d up with my dio. Well done

It is a great work, i have never seen something this big (a dio in 1.6 scale) before. I can tell you that the details are superb, starting with the Tiger and finishing with the tram railroad under the T 34.
You can put this dio into a army museum it fits perfectly .
