I just recieved my Blast update set yesterday and it is very nice. Luckily the timing was perfect as I has already been working on the kit and the Revell Pe set with it, along with the DEF model wheels. The Blast model items fit perfect, although the directions are hard to figure out in a couple places. the Revell kit is fairly good, although I encountered fit problems with the nose.

All ready for paint. I scratched the newer exhaust cover as seen in Afghanistan

How did you make the exhaust deflector? My dad is currently working on a Boxer based on pics he took while in Afghanistan and will need to make a deflector. Thanks!

Styrene strip cut into triangles to make the "fins" in the exaust. The dust cover is lead foil cut to shape and wire was used for the strings. Oh and some spare photo etched screen for the exhaust screen. I have a couple really good hi-def pics courtesy of Frenchy that I used. Look here:

Hey Jason, great looking Boxer! just curious though, where are the hubs for the wheels.

I was waiting util I painted the tires before putting them on. I figure the DEF Model wheel mass will work better that way

Thanks Frenchy!
