Hi All,
here are a few shots of my 1/72 scale T-90 turret (ACE/Revell kitbash). Quite a fiddly job but nearly done, one or two final details to add, and remote AAMG to build.

Very nice, especially since it's 72 scale!
I am looking forward to seeing more.

Hi All,
Just a few shots of the T-90 , early painting stages - Tamiya Fine Surface Primer, satin black enamel pre shade, 3-tone camo (masked with blu-tac) and first washes.

WOW!!! Caught up with this thread late in the day, but that really is a superb construction.
I am really keen to try the ACE kit, can you tell us what aftermarket stuff you used here, please? Or did I miss it? I've seen a metal barrel and some p/e tracks, but you seem to have found the mother lode! Any advice/recommendations appreciated.
TIA!

Philip you would be much better off buying Model Collect's new T-90 & 90A kits both are excellent kits that can be picked up for under £10 plus p&p .... ace's T-90 base kit is a bit of a dog and requires loads of work and Revell's T-72m1 kit to sort some of the short comings of the kit

Many thanks for the recommendation, Sir! Having investigated more thoroughly, that does indeed look like the way to go.
Cheers!
