Hello, I have a question for the sherman experts. Looking at photos it appears that there were at least 2 different shapes of sherman headlight guards. One seems to be straight while the other more common design has a curve. The eduard guards seem to be straight. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards, Paul

Paul, I believe he's needing to know when each type was used.

I just ran through the Squadron book "Shermans in Action". To be honest every one they showed (examples of the entire range) had curved guards (it was a quick browse, though, so I might have missed something).
