Hi all,
I'm currently clearing out my stash by building all the old kits. One of them is Dragon's Sherman M4A4 (#6035). I know this kit should have the straight return rollers in stead of the raised return rollers it is supplied with. I did read somewhere that there have been some M4A4's with raised return rollers, although these were a minority. There should be a picture of one of them in a book about Shermans by Hunnicut (page 166). Can anybody confirm this and/or put a picture or scan online of this tank? It would be very nice to have this confirmation, because then I can build the kit straight from the box. Otherwise I will go and kitbash in order to get straight return rollers.
Greetings,
Max

Confirmed. It's a photo of 3 "Sherman V" (M4A4) on rail cars being delivered to the Chinese. It seems to me from the photo they have the upswept return rollers.

Thanks for the quick reply! Can you put the picture online so I can use it for reference? And no confirmation about M4A4's with raised return rollers in the NWE theater?
