I'm trying to work out how the CVR(T) - Scorpion/Scimitar/Sabre only - has developed over the years.
Is there a chronological listing of all the developments that they have gone through - in British use only?
Is there an expert on the subject who can guide me through the changes to floatation screens, headlights, stowage boxes, idlers, sprockets, engine upgrade, add-on armour, different sites, etc, etc, over the years?
Is there any good reference in print or on the web?
Cheers

I am no expert, but googled and found this article that goes through the various vehicles in UK and export versions.
Might be of some use if you not already seen it !!!!!!!

I always seem that usage of the intake screens was not consistent.
The Museum Ordnance Special #21 by John Prigent book has a chronological guide to some of the changes on page 4.
I've only seen one picture of a Sabre (02 ?? 83 it think) with the SPIRE sight upgrade.
