Hi Gang,
I`ve taken the plunge and bought a bottle of Citadel Minatures Devlin Mud colour wash to try and enhance the finish on my models - the problem is i`m buggered if i know how to use it !.
Do you use it straight from the bottle or do you dilute it ,if so ,what with ?.
The effect i`m trying to achieve is to hi-light seams on clothes and bring details out on armour.
Any help with this is appreciated.

I've only used their 'Badab Black' wash myself but its dilutable with water although I have never found the need to dilute it as it flows quite well all by itself. My only problem is that it dries to a fairly 'weak' consistency in contrast with dark colors- like grey for example. My advice would be to use a test piece to see how it turns out for you.

On a tank I would suggest using enamel or oil washes.

Hope this helps!
