Hi all
This was a quick build (as always with Tamiya) of the new Bystrokhodny Tank no 7. There were no big problems during the build, the most challenging part were to bend the quite "springy" transmission cover net into place. (Tamiya kindly includes a bending mould for this.) The tracks are link-by-link and take some effort to get a snug fit around idler/sprocket but looks really nice when in place.
The model were painted with Gunze/Tamiya acrylics and were weathered with oil paints/white spirits.
I'm adding a family photo with Maquettes old BT-2 just for fun, the actual kits are naturally miles apart.
Kind regards
/Tomas

Wow. Excellent finish. I love those green and the dull metal finish you have created. Great weathering. Thanks for sharing.
It would be great If you could post few in-progress pics as well
Have a Great Day
