Typical AFV Club quality, only problem area - and a major pain too - the ammo belts from the boxes to the guns. Lousy choice to make them vinyl and bad fit as well.
Anyway, this is the end result. Please let me know if you like the zeltbahn on the back, I'd like to use it more...

I think it's a nice looking build. I agree on the ammo belts, but they don't show.

Nice build! One of my fav 251 versions and a kit I finger from time to time!
I'll echo Russ on those ammo belts. And as they don't really show, no issue!
I like the idea of using zeltbahn - I have recently picked up on using these in some projects, so maybe it's "like minds"!
BUT... couple of things... IF you are going to have it spread out, as you do, you could make it much more realistic by attending to two things: zeltbahn had large grommets at the corners - these would be visible here and are easy to add on for that extra pop. Zeltbahn also had a head - flap for use as a poncho. Again, pretty easy to add on and make it more real.
IF you add on those grommets, you'll be able to make things pop even more by tying your ZB down with some thread! At present, it looks simply "plopped on" without tie-down - yet strange to say rather carefully positioned!
Just a thought

Is the Zeltbahn a product or scratch?

Thanks to all for dropping in! The ZB is a bit of a work in progress, it's removable, so I'll try to add the details Bob mentioned and see... I agree on the string, but will only add when permanent, as for the gromets and the flap, I don't know whether they would show in 1:35... see photos in attached link.
It is actually a printout on standard copy paper, using my inkjet, sized to 1:35 scale, of a photo of the real thing from here
