Does anyone that attended have a good pic of the vignette that shows the american para with his parachute?

Dang that's pretty impressive work!
You having flash-backs, Jer?
BTW: I'm not too familiar with the WWII equipment - did that 'chute not have an apex opening? Must have oscilated like a monkey swinging on a vine... hard landings every time!

Exactly! Thanks brother for taking the time to post it. Best parachute and suspension lines that I have ever seen.

Flashbacks? Pretty much every night in my dreams!! LOL
I don't know for sure if the chute and harness in the dio is accurate as I am not familiar with the WWII era stuff but you are correct,of course. Without the air dumping out the apex it would be quite a ride. One thing I do know,we lagged well behind our British cousins in using the quick release system for the harness. I am not aware of when we fixed that cluster f--- but I have always appreciated the gear I used, even the -1 and HSPR!! Always a blast jumping at night, full overcast with no ground orientation and wearing 80 pounds of"lightweight" equipment!!! Yeahbone!
This guy did a wonderful job on this vignette here,I am lovin it.
