My only IDF Sherman kit. Well worth the purchase, you get an M50 turret in the kit as well. Lots of plastic in the box, the lid is hard to get reshut.

real good news, I was already thinking about bidding on ebay for an MP Models kit. DML is better than that (I have been told )

Rob,that turret does include the 75mm gun right? Hmmmmmmmm now I can do an M50 on a late M4A1 hull with the V.V.S.S. units #:-) (++)

I'm not sure of the caliber of the extra gun, but it is a big honking long gun with muzzle brake. Both turrets have the extra bustle molded on so it won't be able to be used as a WW2 turret. Only one cupola is included though.

You want a 75mm cannon for the M50 ?
The problem is to find the right muzzle break... but otherwise you should be able to use the cannon of a panther !

You mean like this?
I am contemplating the same with Verlinden's M50 turret. Well maybe it will now be DML's turret. :-)

Actually the color is French OD. these tanks were not long off the boat when the Suez campain started. Very likely they were rushed to Israel for the war. Just a note though Get the Academy Machine gun weapons set . Many if not most early sherman carried the Air craft fully perforated barrel version of the .50 cal.

I've got that very tank waiting for it's coat of paint !
It will be painted a brownish OD, with a blue bordered white cross on the engine deck !

Hi Venom the academy kit has the easier running gear. Either kit builds up well but neither the Academy or the DMl is correct out of the Box. best check TOm Gannon's article on the Snetinal site or reference links on my site .
