Hello all
I would like to share my last project that was alot of fun
to build. It is the Tristar kit and i will say that she is excellent very detailed kit.
So the title is called Der KNUSSKNACKER and depicts a heavey hitting Brumbar of Sturmpanzer Abteilung 216, 2nd company
9th Army Kursk Salient July 1943 on their way to pound the russians into dust hope you all like it.
Please excuse the order.
Again thankyou all i love this site.
Regards
Horst

May I make a suggestion? Remove the MG42. It would have sat free and propped up the MG shield. How you have it depicted wouldn't be possible. HTH

Hey Guys thanks for the advice and comments.
i appreciate the feedback.
Just a note about the MG shield there were two brackets
holding up the shield which when i tried to attach them
with my oversized sausage fingers they fell inside and i
decided to leave it alone but that is how the shield would be
propped up.
Hey Dave we miss you here in Jersey how is Fla. treating you so far? hope all is well!!!!!
Thanks again
Respectfully

Horst;
NICE job!
I've not seen that Tristar kit built up and it does look mighty fine indeed. And yeah, I can sympathize with you on the "sausage finger" and smaller parts problem!
It all looks pretty cool, to me - I actually would not have noted the error with the MG had it not been ID'd before! (I have the CH early kit and the Dragon early w/ zimm kit and I'll be making sure I don't commit THAT error - there will be plenty of other opportunities for me to fall into! )
There is / are about one fairly salient thing I think you could and should fix on your otherwise really sweet build... I think those schurzen plates always tilted out from the hull at their top (or inwards at the bottom - however you see it) - they did not hang down straight. This is pretty obvious in many pics of the real thing and gives this beast a rather (IMO) curious and cool look.
It's pretty nice and the figs are pretty good, too. All up, looks like those dastardly commies are in for a little kickin'!
Cheers!
Bob
