Either the Philippine Army or Marine Corps did something similar with an M35 truck and the twin .50 caliber MG turret from a PBR Mk II.

That M35/twin40 is an awesome guntruck! Bit pricey to build but I want one - AFV Club M35 and the new Duster comes to £70 at UK prices, not far short of that if you use the old Tamiya M42 as a donor
Oh well, Christmas isn't that far away.......
