HI Everyone, am working on a MiniArt Brick Building, and was wondering if any AM companies happen to make any waterslide decals of any of the advertising you would commonly see on the outside walls, am looking for some French sinage...Have done some looking on the net, and still am, but not finding a lot. Also looked into doing stenciling but not very confident as I've tried a couple of times with basic lettering but ended up looking like garbage? Is there anything out there?

Thanks
Kelly

Kelly , try printing an old period advertisment on tracing/parchment paper .
Use a glue stick and press it onto your facade work .
Be carefull though your print will run if you get it wet .

Wow Cheyenne, that looks great! Will give that a go, I assume to use a inkjet printer, I guess a laserjet would fry the paper...after it's on the wall, there must be some way to seal the picture without having the ink run so it could be weathered? Wonder if some of the Krylon art protecting sprays may work?
Kevin, I'll also check out Archer's site as well thanks again!

Thanks Kelly , the brickwork under the sinage is Plastruct uneven brick , I think they came in 11inch by 8 inch sheets.
If you look at the first pic I stained the corner brickwork with golden oak Minwax stain , and let a small amount bleed into the paper . Weathering enough , although a small dot of stain here and there may add more " age " to the sinage , which I did .
I really wouldn't seal it with anything the parchment tracing paper is enough .
I used a regular old HP printer .

I did the copy paper route for a French drink advertisement. Before I glued it to the wall, I took an eraser and gently rubed the back to wear down the paper some. Diluted white glue for the adhisive and kind of burnished it into the brick so the texture would show through.
