Hello, what is the best product for snow in 1/35 scale. I need a product that will not yellow and an adhesive that will not yellow.
Many thanks,
Paul

I've used snow-cote and have been happy with it. I see/hear that Woodland scenics stuff is good too

Artificial sweetener does not yellow. I have a large bag of store brand sweetener that works well.

I prefer Woodland Scenics Snow. It is made out of micro-balloons of styrene that will not yellow nor be eaten by bugs like foodstuff (baking soda, sweetener, flour, etc.) can be. It replicates dryer snow perfectly.

Here is an example:

I used cheap, pump hairpray to glue it down. Spray the area liberally and then sprinkle the snow on, let dry. You can keep adding hairspray and snow in layers to get the desired snow buildup. It can also be mixed into a slurry with white glue and you can add acrylic paint to the mix to make dirty, wet slush and frozen snow.

Artificial sweetener is a chemical, not a food product. It's like salt; not eaten by insects.

Just be carefull if you use the Hudson & Allen snow. Micro ballons are easy to inhale an are really not healthy for your blood stream and where it ends up. By the way, thats what I use with a white glue & water mix to put on.
