Hey guys, I'm looking for 2 types :
The ones about the same that come with AFV Club's M88. Each link is oval shaped, around 0.5mm thick, 2.5mm wide and 3mm long, with 14 links per inch / 2.5cm.
I need a lot!!!
Also, what's the tiniest chains available? 42 links per inch?
Thanks!

Hey Nick, checkout MR Modellbau, they are located in the UK. I purchased some chain and cast metal hooks etc... from them. Good quality stuff and good prices too. Shipping was really fast as well. hope this helps

The cheapest I've come across for mid-sized chains are the RB Model ones ...

Nothing that matches your measurements exactly but some are sort of there. For really tiny ones I get them from the model ship making display at my LHS, they range from 12 to 42 links per inch.

I needed some tiny chains and wound up at a woman's clothing store looking at the cheap chain necklaces. I found what I needed and it cost me under three dollars (US) for about 22 inches of the stuff. You could also try at a hobby store that caters to folks who make their own jewelry.
