I think about purchasing me ProArt Models FMTV upgrade set #35031. Now I wonder if the radio/FBCB2 rack as seen on the homepage is included in the kit?

If you are talking about this radio rack, 35049, US Special Forces Vehicle Communication set.


Then the answer is no. It is part of set 35045, Special Forces War Pig Conversion set. It is only a standard radio rack (green part below) with a home-made box built on it (sand part above), and a few extra radios bolted to it. A simple conversion to an existing radio rack.

Set 35031, contains a complete new cab and cab details. It is nice, but I think it is overkill.



I prefer (and have) set 35033, Iterior Set for M1078 LMTV & FMTV (Small). It provides just what you need to open up and detail out the cab. It is much more reasonably priced as well.

Despite of the high price I have to get the set since I need the DVE parts. A friend of mine gave me pics of a 2nd CR MTV that shows a high FBCB2 rack behind the right seat. I guess I have to get me ProArts SINCGARS/FBCB2 set, too.
