Hi. I bought this product at a local hardware store and it's not clear. It's white like milk ? Can it still be used to dilute enamel filters and washes ? Thanks.

I would be careful. I picked up some paint thinner from Lowe's. It was milky white and reacted more like paint stripper. Waste of $15.

It's crap for airbrush use. Not sure about washes, should work, but maybe not the best choice.
Use it for clean up.
Now the Klean Strip Green Lacquer thinner substitute, that's a different animal all together, great thinner for Tamiya.

Thanks, Matt and Brent. I guess i have to look for the correct Mineral Spirit then. What else can I use to thin enamel washes or artist color paints to make washes ? Thanks.

I use Mona Lisa Odorless Mineral Spirits. I got it from Michael's but it's pretty universal. No smell, and it works great as a brush cleaner and wash thinner. I don't do much with enamels or oil colors, bu when I do, I use Mona Lisa.
