I'm wondering did all Stryker NBC vehicles that were used in Iraq(what about Afghanistan, is Army using them over there?) had slat armor. If they did, were they using blast shields on them too.

I would appreciate if somebody has good pictures of them with slat armor.

I can`t confirm your questions, but I don`t think that the M1135 was used for patrols in Iraq or Afganhistan. The NBCRV is a very specialized vehicle, and I wonder if they where deployed in both countries. Even here in Germany, the NBCRV`s of 2nd CR are hardly seen on public roads.
But maybe our active duty members can tell different.

I have Concord book "Iraq Insurgency - part 2" that has 2 pictures of M1135 with slat armor, duke antenna and rhino IED device.
I was hoping for some pictures of M1135 without slat armor but in operational use in Iraq or Afghanistan if there is any deployed without slat armor(it would be much easier build).

Now if I start to build M1135 with "slat" and let's say I buy Eduard "slat" for M1126 ICV would it fit to NBC version, especially because NBC has different back(only small door against standard lowering hatch on ICV)?
