I am building Tamyia T55 Enigma and I am adding the engine (with of course open hatch engine deck): which colour should I be using for the interior of the engine bay?

Are you using a aftermarket kit for the engine or scratchbuilding it?

I'd have to go with what Gino said.

On an off note, post pictures of your build? I'm interested in the kit but it's rather expensive for a Tamiya!

White.

This is a T-54, but it doesn't matter, they have the same color

If you need references, feel free to ask me

Cheers

first of all, sorry about some mispolelling above. too old to text using a small phone keyborad!
So far so good, thank you. one more thing, pls. I am know totally confused by the engine colour: is it metal, white or metal and red? as I have seen so many pohotos, all different one another.
can You help to calrify?
PS I also need top rectify what I said above: engine is Calibre 35, simpliefied but good base: the only problem is that it is built in a awlaled box, to hide the fact that ther isn't a gear box to teh back!

engine bay

Russiam made engine

AM-2 engine

If you need other pics let me know. I have lots of them

Anyway I think that you can find both, metal and red and the other one, it isn't a matter of version. As far as I know, engine metal and red (the first which I've posted) is the most common one

In my opinion only the restored exemplars have the white engine. That wouldn't be an original color

cheers
