Yah but that's an upgraded Mk.1 hybrid. It's possible the early Mk.1's as used in 1982 didn't have any anti-slip; it's very hard to tell from the existing photos. Some say they did and some say they didn't, so it's up to you.

I thought i`d gone crazy when i`d found photos with and without anti-slip - now it seems my question was vindicated.
It seems that when i start my kit i`ll have to double check my references for a specific vehicle, but thanks for the replies guys.

I found a photo of an early Mk.1 (before ball and chain added?) which seems to show some anti-slip coating?
Jason, the Mk.1 hybrids (like Saumur's)have the smoke grenade launchers, rear hull stowage baskets, side skirt springs and the upper hull is closer to a Mk.2, especially around the exhaust grill and hull sides.
