I looked around and couldn't find a 'historicus forma' so I don't know what that refers to. I apologize if this is in the wrong forum listing then.
I'm working on 1/72nd scale armored dioramas to include figurines. My questions are:
1) Why are so many figurines made in soft plastic?
2) what the best way to detail them after base painting? Such as adding better harnesses to horses, connecting figurines to the models or substrate, etc?
3) How do I trim the flash off without the plastic leaving bits of itself? This is especially common on the softer plastic, seem like I leave 'strings' every time I cut.
4) Whats the best way to remove them from their bases so as to directly mount them to the diorama substrate and kill the 'plastic army man' effect of glueing their base to the diorama?
I've worked on pewter, hard plastic and resin before, but this softer plastic is not my friend :-/

At the very top of the main page click the tab that says "browse sites" and you will then see the HF portion of the network along with all of the other sites that make up the network. Just click the HF symbol and you will be taken to the site which you can sign into using the same details you used to sign in here.
