Good day all
I am very new to the world of 1:35 modeling and was hoping for some advice. I live in South Africa and finding Vallejo and other model figure paints is like finding Chickens teeth. However I have found a store that sells Citadel (warhammer) paints.
I am busy building a Tamiya hummer with crew and would like to attempt painting the crew in ACU. I read an article of a member painting his gunner with Citadel/ACU, he did a amazing job but unforgettably never mentioned the colors used.
Does anyone have any advice on Citadel colors for ACU painting ? your posts will be much appreciated.
Regards
Bush boy

hello mate:
I send this address, is in Spanish (Castilian), you can translate with Google.
You'll have to find the colors and make some mixes to get what you want, but paintings are very good.
Regarding vallejo paints or any other brand, if that's okay, you could get and the we changed for models of two manufacturers of your country that are very interesting, but there is one form of contact.
Well, if you want something, you can send me a private message and we talk.
Health and respect,
Jose Ramon

Hi Leon,
I live in Western Australia but buy my Vallejo, Lifecolor and AK-Interactive paints (in fact everything except Tamiya acrylics & Citadel primer) from a UK store. SnM Stuff http://www.snmstuff.co.uk/
Even factoring postage from halfway around the globe, they come in way cheaper than the local hobby stores (around AU$2.80 per Model Color). I'd love to support the LHS but the money I save pays for half of the next CyberHobby White Box kit.
I don't have any affiliation with the store apart from being a very satisfied customer.
Cheers,
Lucien

Hi Lucien
You are a life saver, thanks so much for the advice, agreed I'd like to support local store but to be honest it's difficult asost of the time they don't have stock or dont stock a item or manufacturer.
I too import most of the stuff I need other than Tamiya, thanks again and congrats on the Rugby.
Cheers
