Hi Guys. Never heard of this vehicle or company before sunday. Bought this kit for approx. $8. It caught my eye when I was searching through the wares at a hobby fair. None of the other guys thought much of it, but I think I will give it a go! Does anybody have any info or reference pics of this. The tracks included with the kit are blocked type and wrong, and not the type shown in the picture of the same/similar Nito kit below or on the box art. What would be suitable for this?

Somebody said it was similar to a M26 chasis. What kit could I demolish to get suitable parts for this?
All information and help would be very much appreciated! Thanks

Model Craft recently reissued this kit as well with the "Diehl-looking" tracks. Airwaves makes a photo etch set for it I picked up a while ago via Ebay. I believe it is supposed to use M41 style tracks. I am going to try the old Tamiya M41 tracks on it, and if they fit (sizewise, not necessarily lengthwise), I'll use the AFV Club kit M41 tracks on them (have a set of the single link I plan on using on the Bulldog).

The Hunnicutt Bradley book covers this vehicle very briefly. Tracks either look like the M41 style or HVSS Sherman style, both single pin and double pin.

The M8 was created as a general cargo tractor but was mainly associated with the T83 "Skysweeper" 75mm AA gun. The suspension parts were from the M41 light tank.
