Hi all,
with the announcement of BlackDog`s SF truck conversions, I wonder if the real LMTV were converted from M1081 LAPES trucks.
The missing roof and windshield indicates this. I wonder how many of them are in service and how many different Weapons/Commo combinations are possible.
TIA

Hi Hermann,
I´ve collected several SF LMTV photos in past few years. The truck is based on the LVAD/LAPES version. In regards to the weapons, there is always M240 MG mounted in front of the commander´s seat and either 0,5´´ machine gun or Mk.19 grenade launcher in the cargo bay.
Regards
Jiri

Is it possible to mount a MK 47 on the cargo bay? Or is the warpig to old for this modern grenade launcher?

I would say no as all the photos of Warpigs I found come from the invasion campaign while the Mk47 I´ve only seen on pics. from later stages of OIF/OEF.
I hope some US military specialist will answer instead.
