ok, looking to add some tank riders to the Dragon StuG E. Looking at the decals in the kit it would be September/October 1941 Russian Front. Now I know it wont be baking hot then but it wouldnt be snowy either (would ti). What options do I have for 3/4/5 tank riders - all I see are either 1944 type or winter gear ones (which while good wouldnt fit in the Diorama I am hoping to do as well)...
"To the Front" - so Stug, loaded with gear and a small number of tank riders, perhaps some infantry walking up the road or maybe the tank stopped talking to a Field POlice unit with map open.... (looking t the MIniArt country road base, not sure how much space I would have with the tank on but there is a little)...
so what thoughts for the figures?

Several decades ago Tamiya produced a 1:35 set called Panzer Grenadiers (#35061), that should fit the bill. If I recall, there were about eight or nine figs, sat or crouched, that fit well on the rear deck of a Panther.

on ebay and thought the same thing... could use 3/4 of them on the StuG - the others going in the sparss... the guy sort of peering - like the look of him looking over a map that the tank commander is reading (or expanding into the diorama with Field Police - maybe the police, tank commander and this guy are standing out the tank looking at a map trying to work out where the heck they are....
