Interesting looking product, wonder where it can be found in North America? Canada? I can see from the product label it is an American product.

What a great product! I wonder if this is available in the UK?

But i'll look anyway.

and I was wrong. Here is a link to where the company's products can be found in the USA:

Primarily it is all places that specialize in pottery/ceramics.

At $32 for the trial pack(and that's without shipping), I think I will stick with my method.

What? I looked at the website and a 2 oz bottle is $3.25. Does not seem all that bad, but unfortunately the selection here in Canada for vendors is very slim.

I ordered 3 bottles (2oz ea.) from Brickyard Ceramics (1-800-6773289 or Brickyard ceramics.com)for about $20 including S&H which I figure will last a long time, considering I'm not gonna rust entire vehicles, just portions of them. That price point is about where AK is at the LHS.
BTW,Mayco doesn't do mass merchandising,so no Hobbylobby/Michaels. Source= Mayco customer service
Thanks again Frederico for the tip.

The only option in Florida is the trial set priced at $32. I thought it was called "Magic Metallics".? Checked brickyardceramics and all of the Mayco hits reply with a load error.

Matt,
Mayco is the parent company in Ohio. The website shows the states with the seller in that state. Try the Brickyard site. I had to play a little to get to 'Magic Metallics' individually. The S&H will probably be the same as it's UPS (the chemical/paint/flammable thing)and I'm only 125 miles from the store.

Brickyard DOES NOT WORK. I get a message that the host site has blocked the pigments.

Two other prducts that are like this and work as well are (1)-from Modern Optics, rust antiquing set, 2 oz bottles for about $8.00 and, (2)- Scale Line, real model rust. About $15.00. Both are 2 parts, a metalic surfacer and a chemical solution to rust the base. The first I p/u at Franks and the second at my L.H.S.

You don't happen to have a site link that sells either of those, do you? Just try looking up "modern optics".

it can definately be found at michaels. i picked some up a year or so ago. its main reason for being produced is for antiquing home or decorative accents. its basically 2 solutions that are applied. a solvent that contains metal and an oxidizer to apply once the first coat is dried.
you can get 2 oz bottles (both the metallic and the oxidizer) for about 15-20 USD
