I am in the process of painting up some figures which will be included in a dio of the 29th American Division storming ashore from a landing craft on Omaha Beach. I have posted some of my efforts here. Some of the Divisional badges still have to be added.

Very nice job with the painting. Good detail. I like the netting on the helmet. Did that a few times myself , looks great. The only thing that I found odd was the heavy three day looking beards. They would have been clean shaven when they hit the beach and maybe wouldn't get a chance to shave for a few days after the landing.

Thanks for the positive comments.

I put some stubble on them as I thought the clean shaven look made them all look like schoolboys. I may have overdone it a bit.
