Most British vehicles were white on the inside, as for the Humber, I believe it would be the same.

Here is an example of the Humber I built sometime back.

Jeff;

Hi! I don't suppose that you are doing that Bronco Humber MkII scout-car/kit, are you? That one's on my shelf (the one with the 2 "K guns". It'll make it to the bench sometime! So your question "pokes" at me - I'll need to know this one (interior colors?), too!

Anyway: a quick look at Google leads to several different discussions and threads on this topic, and the strong consensus is... that earlier war Brit armor was actually painted an "aluminum" color inside! By mid-war, apparently at least some vehicles came out with white enamel, the aluminum being strategically important. So, this Humber being a 1943+ edition, it probably came in white. It also seems that there is pretty much consensus that the insides of hatches which opened out were painted the exterior color. Sort of like the mid- and later-war German practice.

Personally, I think I'll do the white - I'm just not keen on that aluminum interior... though that's the apparent historic color and I think I'll have to bite that bullet for my Vickers Mk. VI-C!

Howdy.

Back in June I attended the WWII Weekend at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum in Reading PA.

And they had one of these on display..

Its a restored vehicle in working order inside and out. I posted a couple of photos with my Photo Article on the Event.

I got to go inside and take several photos of which only one is online as I havn't got around to editing my walk around of the vehicle. I have no idea which mark it is..

here is the one photo thats on the site of the interier.

The owner did claim that everything on the vehicle was as authentic as he could make it.

Del... Great pics.I think that is a Mk.II,as it looks very close to the model I'm doing,same turret and the hull looks the same.
Thanks again Gents,Jeff T.
