Nenad,
That's a good looking T-72, it's always nice to see a dog of a kit become something nice. Keep it up.

Hi guys,
I thank you a lot for you kind comments and interest in my project.
Hi Andreas,
to match the correct JNA color called "SMB - sivo maslinasta" (greyish olive) you have to mix two colors. Therefore I only use Revell Aqua Color #362 and #45 and mix it 2:1. When you take a look at my other works you can see that this is the right one:

Hello Nenad,
You show some damn nice building skills here! I have one question: What specific color would you recommend for JNA tanks? Would the green from my syrian tank fit? I´m unsure, I think it´s to green for JNA vehicles. What do you think?
All the best,
Andreas

Hi guys,
first of all I want to thank you for your patience during the building time and comments you have left. Only one week is left and I will quit with casting resin turrets for sale, because I spend too much time on it and less on family and hobby.
Here are some new pictures of this project, where neccessary improvements have been made, because Tamiya/MHM/Trumpeter failed to check it and add them correctly to the main kit.

Hello again.
It has been some time ago that I posted new pictures of my progress. Well here they are. Everything you can see is my own work. No PE-detail sets were used, except the rear light cover, that was reshaped from Eduard´s oversized etch part.
All the small details were made from the rest and framework of RB-Models 125mm gun etching part plate. For example the towing hook fixing points, the inner lense of the rangefinder unit. The towing cable was made from thin copper wire and will be painted seperately. Straps to attach the tree trunk were made of thin yogurt plastic.
Enjoy the pictures...

Here are the last pictures befor painting. I decided to use some Eduard parts for motor grills/mesh and Trumpeter´s single track links to recreate a better terrain configuration. The track links are not workable, I had to glue them completely. The tanker has been stolen from Tamiya´s T-72M1 in my stash.

Here are fresh pictures of an idea I´m having. I will make a diorama with my T-72M and BRDM-2UM during a maneuver of the Yugoslav army in 1983 located at Krivolaka, now Macedonia. The complete diorama base, trees and everything you can see is my own work. I built this diorama base to display an M1A1HA Abrams with mine plough in Bosnia from 1996. But I sold the tank and will use this base for the Yugoslav project. Areas with the brown-greyish mud will be covered with static grass.
The dio-base, which formerly was built for my Abrams project last year:
and now the present idea

Hi Mike,
thanks a lot for your kind words.
I also have to thank my wife and my older daughter for supporting me and holding white bed sheets during all photo-shootings.
And about my turret sets. Who says that I have completely stopped with casting turret sets? I will pour them until my liquid resin stock is empty. And I think this will take some 50 to 60 turret sets.

New pictures from my project.
I have been using car primer from WILKENS. An excellent and fine primer for only 3,80 Euro.
A Yugoslav T-72M in factory-fresh Czech-color. I took Revell Aqua Color #67 and lightened it with 5ml #45 "light olive" + 5ml "white", because the first color application using only #67 was to dark, in my opinion of course.
BRDM-2UM in factory-fresh Yugoslav SMB-color

Hi guys,
thanks for watching my project. Therefore I´ll show you new pictures from the progress. The T-72M after "washing"/"weathering", where only black artist oil color was used, diluted with lighter fluid/petrol.
I have found a small mistake. The ammunition box of the DSHK-gun has a "star". This details is only suitable for USSR tanks, but not for license built Czech T-72 or Yugoslav M-84 tanks. This detail will be fixed immediately.
