Thanks for posting the additional images...and the one on the Stryker is the most telling for me.
To me the Barracuda looks way out of scale and the pattern is too oversized for 1/35. Maybe it will look better all rolled up or folded up?

Here's Arkebuza net draped on my Scorpion. I think it has a pretty realistic appearance, the best I have seen in the scale so far:
I used water and white glue for application and the net was pretty strong to withold some abuse. More detailed photos are in my gallery.

I've tried it on my M41A1, but the pieces are a bit small - for 1/16th - and a bit too uniform. Still haven't figured out how to post pics here, which is frustrating, so here is the link to Havoc Hobby - -
